Retractable Side Window Sun Shade — 2-Pack

Apex RollShade™ — Retractable Side Window Sun Shade (2-Pack)

Front seats get tint, visors and the roofline. The back seat gets none of it. RollShade pulls down over the rear side window in one move, keeps the sun off a child's face or a dog's coat, and rolls itself back up with one press. Fits any car, SUV or truck — two in every pack.

Made for the seat that gets no shade

01

One-touch retract

Pull the tab down and it stays. Press the end cap and the shade winds itself back into the roller — no folding, no fighting a spring.

02

See out, block the sun

Perforated mesh cuts glare and direct heat while passengers can still watch the road go by. The cabin never feels boxed in.

03

Two mounts in the box

Suction cups for flat glass, or hang the hooks over the window edge so you can still wind it down. Swap in seconds.

04

Large 20 × 22 in panel

Covers a full rear side window on most sedans, SUVs and trucks. Two shades in every pack, one per side.

05

Nothing stuck to the car

No adhesive, no clips on the trim, no marks on tint. Take it off in seconds when you sell the car or swap vehicles.

06

Gentle on kids and pets

Keeps direct sun off a child's face and a dog's coat on long drives. Cooler seat, calmer passengers.

Installation

Fitted in under a minute, no tools

Two ways to mount, both tool-free and both leave nothing on the glass. Suction cups for a flat window, hooks over the top edge when you want the window to still wind down.

  1. 1

    Clean the glass

Wipe the inside of the window so the suction cups seal. Clip a cup into each hook on the roller.

    30 seconds
  2. 2

    Press it onto the window

Hold the roller along the top edge of the glass and press each cup on. Or skip the cups and hang the hooks straight over the window edge.

    20 seconds
  3. 3

    Pull down, press to retract

Pull the tab to the sill. When you want it gone, press the end cap and it rolls back up on its own.

    5 seconds

Both shades ship with cups and hooks in the box, so you choose the mount per window. Clean the glass first and the suction cups hold through summer heat.

A rear window gets full sun for most of the drive

Front seats get tinted glass, visors and the roofline. The rear side window gets none of that, so whoever sits behind you takes direct sun on one side of their face for the whole journey. Kids fall asleep and wake up hot and cross, dogs pant, and the seat itself is too warm to touch after a stop.

RollShade sits flat against the glass and cuts the glare and heat before it reaches the seat. The perforated mesh still lets passengers see out, so the cabin doesn't feel closed in.

Why a roller, not a cling shade

Static cling shades fall off in heat, curl at the edges and end up in the door pocket. RollShade is a spring-loaded aluminium roller with a 20 × 22 in (51 × 56 cm) perforated mesh panel: pull the tab down to the sill and it stays; press the end cap and it winds itself back into the tube.

Two hooks on the roller take either the suction cups (flat glass) or hang straight over the window edge (frameless doors, or when you still want to wind the window down). Nothing is stuck to the car and nothing marks the tint.

Questions, answered

Will it fit my car?

The panel is 20 in wide by 22 in tall (51 × 56 cm). It covers the rear side window on most sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs and trucks, and works on any glass it can reach — front windows too if you want. Measure your window width; if it is narrower than 20 in the shade simply overlaps the frame.

Can I still open the window with it on?

Yes if you use the hooks over the window edge. With the suction cups on flat glass the shade moves with the window, so wind it up before lowering.

Does it stick to the glass?

Only the suction cups touch the glass, and they peel off clean. There is no adhesive and no clip on the door trim, so nothing is left behind and tint is unaffected.

Can the driver see out?

It is a rear side window shade, so it does not affect the driver's forward view. The mesh is perforated, so passengers can see out and you can still check over your shoulder.

Is it safe for babies?

The shade has no small loose parts once fitted and sits flat against the glass. It keeps direct sun off a car seat, which is exactly where sun is hardest to avoid. Check the suction cups are firm before each trip.

What's in the box?

Two roller shades, six suction cups and four hooks — enough to fit both rear windows either way.
