Fitment & compatibility
What our fitment information means. Every product page lists the vehicles, generations and build years the product is designed for. That information describes an unmodified factory vehicle. A 2023 Model 3 and a 2024 Model 3 Highland are different cars, and parts are rarely interchangeable between them, so please check the generation and build year, not just the model name. Your build date is on the sticker inside the driver's door frame.
Aftermarket equipment can change the answer. Before you order, and again before you open the package, check whether your vehicle has any of the following. Each of them can prevent a product from fitting or clearing correctly even when the vehicle is listed as compatible:
- Head-up displays (HUDs) or dash-mounted screens
- Dash cameras, especially those wired behind the mirror or along the A-pillar
- Replacement, modified or frameless mirrors
- Additional sensors, radar detectors or hard-wired devices
- Interior modifications, wraps, protective films, or replacement trim
- Steering-wheel, console, screen or dashboard accessories already installed
- Any other aftermarket accessory in the area where the product mounts
A fitment conflict caused by aftermarket equipment is not a product defect. A product that does not fit because of a modification, a non-standard configuration, or a variant you selected is not eligible for a refund. That is why the compatibility check belongs before ordering, not after.
Do a dry fit before you commit. Once you have confirmed compatibility and opened the box, hold the product in position and check clearance against everything around it before applying adhesive, removing any protective backing, or using tools.
Not sure? Ask first. Send us your model, build year or VIN and a photo of the mounting area if you have aftermarket equipment fitted, and we will confirm fitment before you order. Email apexevlabs@gmail.com or WhatsApp +852 5497 6726.
Installation
Can I install these myself?
Depends entirely on the part. Some clip on in fifteen minutes with no tools. Others — headlight boards, bodykits — need a professional. Each product page tells you which, honestly, before you buy. Before any installation, dry-fit the product and check clearance against your existing equipment.
Will aftermarket parts void my Tesla warranty?
Nothing we sell requires permanent modification unless the product page says otherwise. But no aftermarket seller can promise how Tesla will treat a specific warranty claim, and anyone who tells you they can is guessing. If a part is related to a fault, expect questions.
Returns
What is the return policy?
Defective, incorrect or transit-damaged items are replaced or refunded when reported within 14 days of delivery and returned to us. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted, including wrong variants ordered by the customer and fitment conflicts caused by aftermarket equipment. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Read the full return policy.
I ordered the wrong variant. What now?
Email us before it ships and we'll swap it at no cost. After dispatch, the order can't be changed or returned, so please check the variant carefully before you pay.
Something arrived faulty or wrong. What do I do?
Email us your order number, photos and a short video of the problem within 14 days of delivery. We'll send you a return authorisation, and once the item is back with us we replace it or refund you.
How to report a faulty or incorrect item
All returns need a return authorisation before anything is shipped. Items sent without one may be refused.
- Contact us within 14 days of delivery at apexevlabs@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +852 5497 6726.
-
Send us the following:
- Your order number

- Photos of the packaging and shipping label, and the outer carton if it arrived damaged
- Photos or a short video showing the defect, or the incorrect item next to your order confirmation
- Anything else we ask for to assess the claim, such as your build year or a photo of the mounting area
- We review and reply within 2 business days. If the claim is accepted, you receive a return authorisation with the return address and packing instructions. If it does not meet the policy, we explain why.
- Ship within 7 days of authorisation, tracked and at your own cost, in the original packaging, with the authorisation reference on the outside of the parcel. Keep your proof of postage.
- Inspection and outcome. We inspect the product within 5 business days of receipt and confirm by email. Replacements ship after inspection; refunds go back to the original payment method.

Products
Are these genuine Tesla parts?
No, and we don't claim to be. Apex EV Labs sells aftermarket upgrades — parts made to fit Tesla vehicles, not made by Tesla. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Tesla, Inc.
Is a coloured DRL street legal where I live?
Lighting colour rules vary by state and country. White and amber are widely accepted; other colours often aren't. Check your local regulations before fitting — we can't advise on the law in your area.
